NUTRITIONAL GOLDMINE

When someone mentions the term superfood, one of the first ones that enter our minds is definitely wheatgrass. Yes, this superfood is definitely one of the healthiest ones out there. There are plenty of wheatgrass juice benefits that people brag about. And they’re not lying. Wheatgrass  is certainly good for you, all that and more.

A lot of people put wheatgrass juice up on a pedestal, often calling it “the ultimate blood purifier.” Other people refer to it as liquid sunshine or the nectar of the gods. Whatever name it takes, no one can mistake that bright green hue.

Wheatgrass is certainly a superior superfood since it has over 100 elements that man needs in order to survive. It also contains all minerals known to man, along with vitamins A, C, E, K, and the entire B-complex vitamins. It is also jam-packed with protein, along with 17 amino acids. And on top of all that, wheatgrass is one of the best sources of chlorophyll. It contains about 70% of the stuff.

Improve Immune system

Wheatgrass enhances the function of your immune system. This can help ward off infection and disease. Plus, you’ll feel much better when your immunity is performing at optimal levels. If you do get some type of illness, having a strong immune system can help you recover more quickly.

Help With Digestion

Wheatgrass has high levels of enzymes that aid in digestion by helping your body to break down food and absorb nutrients. This can help with digestion.

The detox effects of wheatgrass clean your intestines so you experience less gas, bloating, and abdominal discomfort.

Boost Metabolism

Drinking wheatgrass can boost your metabolism and aid in weight loss. It’s an excellent choice if you’re watching your weight, because it’s low in calories and has no fat.Wheatgrass is a nutrient-dense food, leading many to feel fuller faster and longer.

Control Blood Purser

You can lower your blood pressure by consuming wheatgrass. The chlorophyll molecule is similar to hemoglobin and increases blood cell count. This helps to normalize blood pressure. It’s also thought to purify blood and improve blood circulation.

Improve Red Blood Count

Wheatgrass juice contains up to 70% chlorophyll, which is an important blood builder. The chlorophyll molecules closely resemble that of the hemin molecule, the pigment which combines with protein to form hemoglobin.

High In Oxygen

Wheatgrass is high in oxygen like all green plants that contain chlorophyll. This is beneficial because the brain and all body tissues function at an optimal level in a highly- oxygenated environment.
